We quote prices as from — as a guide, so you know what to expect. The exact price is always confirmed in the quote for your specific job. Inquiries are no-obligation and we charge for material based on actual consumption.

Price breakdown

Four things that set the price

We’re not a warehouse with fixed price tags — every part is different. So we build the price from the items below and always break them down in the quote.

Material

We charge per gram for how much plastic a part uses. Our rates are based on what we pay for filament.

Print time

How long the machine takes to make the part. On production runs the hourly rate is lower — setup is spread across more units.

Work around the part

Finishing, threaded inserts, magnets, assembly, sanding, inspection and packaging.

Data preparation

Do you already have a model, or are we still creating it? Modelling and print-specific edits are charged separately, depending on scope.

All prices exclude VAT and are quoted as from. You’ll get the exact price in the quote — we never charge for anything we haven’t agreed with you in advance.

The brief

Price

Material 50 g × 0,21 CZK = 10,50 CZK
Machine time 4 h × 75 CZK = 300 CZK
Administrative fee = 500 CZK
Answering the inquiry and the quote = 0 CZK

The final price for this part would be roughly 810 CZK excluding VAT. The example is illustrative — on a real job, the shape, the supports, the material and the amount of work involved all play a role.

Pricing FAQ

What you ask about pricing

Why are prices only “from”?

Because material, time and work determine it — two seemingly identical parts can differ by hundreds of CZK. Send us your brief and within 1–2 business days you’ll get a specific quote.

Do you charge for the prototype?

For series production we prepare a sample for approval free of charge. Only the production run itself is charged.

How does the price change on large runs?

The price per piece falls as the quantity goes up — the machine hour is 75 CZK on production runs, 10 CZK cheaper than for one-offs, and setup is spread across the batch.

Can the price be brought down?

Yes: send us an accurate model, tell us where the part can be simpler, and consider more pieces in one batch. Sometimes a wider tolerance is all it takes where it doesn’t matter.

What about shipping and the administrative fee?

We can arrange shipping and invoice it, or use carriers you already have an agreement with; collection in person is possible by arrangement. The 500 CZK administrative fee covers processing the order and is also the minimum we take on.
